Agency participation

Plan the working relationship before an incident.

IRIS Network works with eligible public-safety and emergency-response organizations to define where UAS support fits, how a request is made, what information can be delivered, and what conditions may limit a response.

Participation framework

A defined process, not an open-ended promise of response.

Participation is based on organizational eligibility, program capacity, mission alignment, and a shared understanding of operational and regulatory limits. IRIS Network seeks grant and donor funding to offset eligible mission costs when funding is available. Any agency contribution, participation arrangement, or integration requirement is discussed only after organizational status and program fit are reviewed; grant support is not guaranteed.

Agency review

An authorized representative provides agency information, operational needs, preferred dispatch methods, and the types of incidents where UAS support may be useful.

Planning conversation

IRIS reviews program fit, response expectations, communications, records, equipment requirements, and the limitations that should be understood before a mission occurs.

Operational integration

Approved organizations establish points of contact and a practical request process that fits their existing command and communications structure.

Mission-by-mission confirmation

Every response remains subject to pilot availability, airspace, weather, scene safety, communications, equipment, and the approved scope of the assignment.

The agency application captures the information needed for an informed follow-up. Submission begins a review; it does not guarantee acceptance, availability, or deployment.
